NAZIM SEKEROGLU
From initiating with an M.Sc (1997) and PhD (2003) to establishing a monolith of myriad and dynamic national and international scientific congresses, Prof. Dr. NAZIM SEKEROGLU has come a long way in establishing and pioneering what is today “ The Association of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Mediterranean (AMAPMED)” known best for its exceptional quality and holistic development in Promoting and establishing the use of medicinal and aromatic plants in modern medicine for well being of mankind and besides this he is the General Coordinator of “Global Federation of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants - GOFMAP”. Dr. Sekeroglu organized a number of national and international scientific congresses, and was a member of their scientific boards. His scientific meeting organization series titled “Mediterranean Symposium on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MESMAP)” hosting more than five hundred participants from fifty different countries every two years. As favorable results showed persistently, the scope of his vision expanded in multitudinous folds.
Under his guidance HPCC has recognized its place in the leading Pharmaceutical Congress Committees. The most illustrative representation of his social-good and administrative capabilities is the fact that he also serves on the Board of Advisors at the University Management and Ministerial Duties in capital of Turkey and a recipient of APTI - “Late Smt. Kamal Ben Vavia Memorial Award – 2015” at “Pharmacy Institution of Madhya Pradesh , DAVV Auditorium, Takshash Campus, Indore” – INDIA. And HPCC couldn’t be happier having this magnifico aboard hopefully leading us to the zenith. And following is a note penned down to us from the founder.

ORHAN is Prof.Dr. at Department of
Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey.
From being a Faculty of Pharmacy (1989-1993)Gazi University to the Dean
in Eastern Mediterranean University, Gazimagosa, The Northern Cyprus (2011-2014)
Prof.Dr. Ilkay ERDOGAN ORHAN has come a long way. she started as B.Sc
(pharmacy) faculty in Gazi University. Later she completed her M.Sc
(pharmacognosy) with scholarship provided by the Turkish Scientific and
Technical Research Council (TUBITAK) for master program, in Gazi
University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Pharmacognosy, Ankara,
Turkey (1993-1996). Prof.Dr. Ilkay ERDOGAN ORHAN also pursued M.Sc
Degree in Marine Natural Product Chemistry from University of the Ryukyus, College of Science, Department of Chemistry,
Biology and Marine Sciences, Okinawa, Japan (1996-1998) with
Monbusho scholarship provided by the Ministry of Education in Japan for
master program. And a PhD in pharmacognosy from Gazi University
(1999-2002) and then completed Post-doc in the Department of
Chemistry, University of Winnipeg, Canada (2003). Finally as a Deanin
Eastern Mediterranean University, Gazimagosa, The Northern Cyprus (2011-2014).
Prof.Dr. Ilkay ERDOGAN ORHAN has
written 175 research and review articles in reputed international journals, 38
articles in national journals, & 11 book chapters, h index: 25.
In every step
towards Success Prof.Dr.Ilkay ERDOGAN ORHANhas several Achievements to be named. She was
awarded with “Scientific
Encouragement Award” by
Academy of Pharmacy-Association of Turkish Pharmacists in 2006; “Young Woman
Scientist Award for Asia-Pacific Region” by Organization for Women in
Science for the Developing World (Italy) in 2010. For her immense work ,“Science
Award in Biology” by COMSTECH (Committee on Scientific and Technological
Cooperation by OIC-Organization of Islamic Cooperation) in 2010; “Young Female
Scientist Award” by L’Oreal & Turkish Academy of Sciences in 2011; Young
Affiliate Representative of the Central & South Asia region (ROCASA) of
Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) (2011-2016) in 2011. She also has
received a Honor Award represented by Gazi Universityin 2011; “Innovation
Award for Women” by Turkish Scientific and Technical Research Council
(TUBITAK) and Association of Woman & Democracy (KADEM) in 2015.
Dr. SEVGI GEZICI
A Doctor in the department of Molecular
Biology and Genetics,Gaziantep University, Gaziantep, TURKEY; has shown her
excellence all along her journey from being student to a Doctor in Gaziantep
University. She started her education in the Gaziantep University in 2005
and pursued Lisans Degree (2005-2009) in the field of Biology, Also
a Master Degree (2009-2011) and the PhD. Degree (2011-2014) in
Gaziantep University in the Research field of Molecular Biology and Genetics.Dr.SevgiGEZICI,also
completed her PhD. (2014) in Life Sciences and Proteomics in Texas
A&M University, USA. In the same course she worked as a Research
Assistant for Molecular Biology and Genetics in Kilis 7 Aralik
University, Turkey (in 2010) and Gaziantep University, Turkey (from
2010-2015). Later (in 2016) as a doctor in Gaziantep University in the
department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. Dr.Sevgi GEZICI, for
her exceptional work was awarded with the Master Scientist Prize
(2009-2011) and PhD. Scientist Prize (2011-2016) by TUBITAK Research
Center, Turkey.
Being a Student of interest she took

Professor Dr. RAMAN DANG
Dr Raman Dang is a Professor
at Department of Pharmacognosy and
Phytochemistry ,Al- Ameen College Of
Pharmacy , Banglore ,India. With a background in Pharmaceutical
Sciences PhD In 2003 .He an
outstanding Student started off with
a graduation Bachelor of Pharmacy in
1992 and Post graduation in Pharmacognosy .Having immense
knowledge in marketing ,administration and management holds a Degree
of Masters in Business
Adminstration(MBA) in 1997, Diploma in Pharmacy(1986), Diploma in management in 1995 , Honours Diploma in Marketing Management 1996.Has
professional experience as a Community and Hospital Pharmacist .Moved on Worked
for S.A. Packer & Printers, Bangalore
as Management Trainee, for 6 months. Research Associate at Dabur Research Foundation, Sahibabad, U.P. for a period of 3
months.
He was incharge
of handling confidential and important university work at Dayanand Sagar
College . Responsible for development of Medicinal Garden in most modern
fashion at Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy, Bangalore.
With 14 years teaching
and research experience . Guided eight M. Pharm students and Co-Guide to 10 M.
Pharm students. Presently guiding four Ph. D scholars. Appointed M.Pharm and Ph.d Examiner, Paper setter, Valuator at
various universities through out India. Appointed Deputed Chief for Post Graduate And Graduate University Examinations.
Holds a Gold Medal for Topping in Karnataka
State for the Award of Diploma of Pharmacy. Best Paper Award at IPC,
Indore. 1st runners up award for the paper titled “Cleaning Validation” at 61st
FIP Conference held at Singapore, 2001. 2nd Prize for the paper titled Stevia – A wonder Plant at APTI International Convention, Vizag,

Ocimum basilicum at the international conference on botanicals held at
